Annie May Adams

Annie May Adams was born in Romford, Essex in 1994, of Italian descent.
Her musical journey began when she was given a second hand guitar and a self-tutor book by her aunt when she was 13. Having spent her early years listening to Johnny Cash and Eva Cassidy, she soon began to develop a highly lyrical approach to song writing which belied her age.
As a social observer Annie writes songs for listeners to call their own. Songs that we can all relate to, that will define a place and time, a person or an emotion in our lives.
Annie has received wide support from local radio, completing live sessions and showcases as well as being given regular air time for her first track Brick by Brick; a song that tells the story of how life is better when you work together rather than alone.
2015 was an eventful year for Annie with an opportunity to join the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts and a call from The Voice in the US! She is concentrating on writing whilst taking the opportunities that have come her way!
